Having followed Riverginns for some time we where pleasantly surprised to find they where just on our doorstep in west Norfolk. We have recently taken ownership of a lovely pup called Bertie. James and Katie filled us with confidence. Before anything, the welfare of the animals is paramount to us. Our first visit certainly reassured us. Pups,mums, dad's where cared for in a manner that they truly deserve. We have had Bertie for circa 10 days. He is nothing short of awesome! We look forward to many years of fun and adventures with him. Lovely family business, Highly recommended :)

Having lost my 14yr old Labrador last year I decided that I had to get another (not the original plan). I have followed James on instagram @rivergginsgundogs for quite a while so a phone call was made and a visit to Norfolk arranged; the best decision!! I recently collected an amazing 5 month old dog who has benefitted massively from James’s training. He is happy, calm, attentive and wants to please. I was updated regularly on his progress throughout and visited several times. From day one; James and Katie treat the puppies with care and love and it really shows. I’m so glad I decided to have my puppy stay with them for training. As a consequence he will now walk to heel, both on and off the lead, sit and stay and come back when called and is also very well mannered - not bad for a 5 month old!!! I feel privileged to have one of their dogs and to be welcomed to the Riverggins family which comes with a lifetime of support.

I have had Labrador’s all my life, yet have been blown away from the whole process of meeting James and Katie to taking delivery of our gorgeous puppy. They are extremely calm, ordered, professional and knowledgeable, and dote on each and every animal in their care. As a result, the puppies have the most incredible temperament, enjoy/are very responsive to learning and arrive at 9 weeks already house trained! They are unbelievably supportive, it has been an amazing journey so far and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

We have just brought home our first Riverggins pup. From our first contact with James and Katie we have been impressed: first class communication throughout; outstanding professionalism; humour and overwhelming love and care of all dogs. Our pup has settled easily, shows character, intelligence and great temperament. What's more she has been dry throughout the night from day 1. If you are looking to buy a working labrador you will not regret your decision to buy a Riverggins - your wallet may be lighter but the cliché 'you get what you pay for' has never been so true. We have had our beautiful Riverggins pup for just over a week now and she is an absolute gem. The time and effort Katie and James have put into her care is clear, she is perfectly toilet trained, patient and kind. Katie and James involved us in the whole journey from the day she was born right up until the day we collected her. We got to meet her mum, dad, grandad and many of her other relations who live at Riverggins and we have received so much knowledge and support for Katie and James in the process. Even now, we regularly speak to them for advice and know we could go to them for anything. Their dogs are so happy and healthy and very spoilt, they’re truly living every dog’s dream! We cannot recommend them enough and will certainly be back when we’re ready to add another pup to our family one day.

Katie and James are just amazing, I couldn't be happier with my gorgeous lab. They've maintained great communication and filled me with confidence at every stage with knowledge and support. They are so caring and focused on the health and wellbeing of all their dogs. The accommodation for the dogs and pups is better than some flats I've seen in London! It was important for me to meet the parents of any pup, but they have a whole load more wonderful family relations in their pack than just mum and dad. Grandad, young dogs from other litters, all wonderful temperaments. Finally, the fact that they start laying foundations for training from such a young age is testament to both their knowledge, efforts, and the capacity of the dogs. I can't speak highly enough of them. Thanks again to you both!
