evaluations designed to ensure long-term wellbeing and genetic soundness.
Our Screening Protocol Includes:
• Hip & Elbow Scoring
Assessed under the BVA/KC scheme, our dogs consistently achieve scores well below the Kennel Club’s recommended thresholds for breeding. This reflects exceptional joint health and reduces the risk of
hereditary dysplasia.
• BVA Eye Testing
Annual eye exams are conducted by certified veterinary ophthalmologists to screen for inherited conditions and ensure clear, healthy vision across generations.
• DNA Profiling
Each dog is tested for a full panel of breed-relevant genetic conditions, including PRA, CNM, EIC, SD2, and more. This allows us to make informed pairings that protect future litters from avoidable
health risks.
